Women in Sport Congress (WISC)

The Women in Sport Congress is brought to you by the La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine (LASEM) Research Centre, and the AIS Female Performance and Health Initiative. This congress will bring together leading clinicians and practitioners, with world-class researchers from around the world.

What we did:

  • Designed and developed a website
  • Created a brand and visual identity
  • Supported the social media marketing

How we did it:

We were contacted by members of LaTrobe University Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre and the AIS Female Performance and Health Initiative (FPHI) to initially create some promotional visuals for the inaugural Women in Sport Congress in 2022. The WISC team were so happy with what we produced that we were asked to develop a full visual identity and design and develop the Congress website.

After understanding the requirements the WLS team designed a fully-featured responsive event website that captures the vibrant and upbeat feel of the new branding. The event is still in its infancy but as it grows so will the website and new content is regularly added. The aim of the site is to provide a window into the event but also allow its audience to participate through registration and submitting their abstracts online.

The event is gaining traction quickly and WLS have done their part in managing the social channels, creating a social schedule and making sure the website is kept up to date with the latest information. Our links to the SEM education world also means that our work for the FPHI (14 FREE to view eLearning modules) can be shared directly with the Congress audience.

We continue to provide design and social media support for the event and hope our relationship continues into the 2023 Congress and beyond. Visit the Women in Sport Congress website for more information on this exciting new event.
